Dream Job

I wish I could find a job that paid me to read novels all day and never have to answer the phone and interact with rude people.
I’m going to have to get a job in the next couple weeks and it’ll probably end up being in retail where I have to deal with rude customers and strangers on the daily. I wish that people actually subscribed to the notion of treating others how you would want to be treated.
Back to the dream job though…I love reading and I really wish I could just read all day and get paid for it. My real dream job (I think) is an acquisitions editor. From what I understand, they are the ones who read the incoming manuscripts to publishing houses and decide which ones are good and should keep going through the steps to publication. I think that would be a pretty awesome job. I want to be the person to discover the next Harry Potter series, the next big thing and give promising writers the chance they deserve.

The Unworkout

I had this great idea this morning to do one of those Disney movie workouts. I’ve saved a few in my phone recently and seeing that I wanted to do some kind of workout today, I thought it would be the perfect time. So I turned on my laptop, opened up Netflix and started Mulan. I started following this workout, that I found on getfitdisney’s Tumblr page.

Unfortunately I only got through about the first 20 minutes of the movie before my wifi connection crapped out on me. You never realize how many times the film references honor until 10 push-ups are tacked onto it. My arms are going to be sore tomorrow.

Even though I didn’t even get through the first half of the movie, I got a decent little workout in.

Cinnamon Rolls

I love cinnamon; it is probably my favorite flavor (and smell). Cinnamon rolls are the way to my heart, specifically Cinnabon rolls. Bring me one of those babies and I will love you forever.

I’ve been wanting to make my own homemade cinnamon rolls for a while now but I have been too lazy to do so yet. I don’t really have anything else to do for the moment though so I might very well bake them in the next couple weeks. Just imagine how great the house would smell! That is definitely a huge motivation for me.

Today I took the easy way out and bought a roll of Pillsbury Cinnabon rolls and popped them in the oven. The house still smells wonderful and they taste great but there is no substitute for original Cinnabon or made from scratch.
